FPPC Form 700s
The City Clerk is the filing officer for Political Reform Act documents. The California Political Reform Act requires local officials and designated employees to disclose certain personal financial holdings (economic interests) through the annual filing of the Form 700. The Form 700 is intended to alert officials and members of the public to the types of financial interest that may create conflicts of interest.
Local government officials and employees must refrain from making or participating in a government decision that would have a material financial effect on their economic interests.
